The Lijadora Story

Chapter 1: Texas A&M

Where It Began

On October 26, 2024, a family trip to College Station to celebrate an older brother's birthday and attend a Texas A&M football game sparked an idea.

As two sisters planned what to wear, they kept coming back to the same problem: they couldn't find the boots they wanted. There were plenty of game-day boots, but they wanted something more elevated—less like a boot with a logo added and more like a piece of art shaped by the traditions, symbols and spirit of Texas A&M.

They imagined the ultimate game-day boot—where tradition meets luxury. A western boot layered with overlays, inlays, stitching, color, texture and detail, with something new to discover each time you look at it. Every detail would have meaning. Every element would be designed with purpose. Above all, it had to feel unmistakably Texas A&M.

That night, the idea for Lijadora was born.

Designed to Tell a Story

Lijadora's first collection is intentionally over-designed in the very best way—an artistic expression of Aggie spirit, Texas tradition and the memories that make College Station feel like home. Handcrafted the old-school way by skilled artisans using premium leathers and time-honored bootmaking techniques, these boots are built to last, built to cheer and built to turn heads—tradition and luxury in every stitch, Aggie spirit in every step.

Maroon bonnets bloom across both designs—long and graceful on Bonni and gathered into a split bouquet on Betty. A large white star honors the Lone Star State, while a tiny gold star is a nostalgic reminder of the little gold stars we all hoped to earn on our school papers.

The number 12 celebrates the 12th Man. 1876 marks Texas A&M's founding year. TX grounds the collection in Texas. And as Lijadora begins its story, there could not be a better introduction than Howdy.

Hearts represent a love for Texas A&M and something more personal—the piece of every Aggie mom's heart left behind in College Station.

White and gold four-leaf clovers wish the Aggies game-day luck, while a green four-leaf clover honors the connection between Texas 4-H and The Texas A&M University System. The cross reflects the faith, character and servant-hearted values found throughout the Aggie community.

Ring Gold bands encircle both the top of the shaft and the heel—and cinch Betty's split bouquet—as a tribute to one of Texas A&M's most treasured traditions: the Aggie Ring.

On Betty, a four-loop stitch detail pays tribute to Reveille, Texas A&M's beloved mascot.

Tucked into the design is something uniquely Lijadora—an exclusive horns-down-inspired bug and wrinkle, a playful inside joke for the Aggies who immediately understand it.

Betty proudly carries Aggies, while Bonni incorporates the iconic Texas A&M mark with a heart and four-leaf clover. Different in personality, connected by the same story.

Officially Licensed. Designed for True Aggies.

From the beginning, the vision was for these boots to be more than Aggie-inspired. Lijadora sought the university's approval and became an official Texas A&M licensee, with each design submitted for review and approval.

Betty and Bonni are officially licensed Texas A&M University products.

That distinction matters. These boots carry Texas A&M's marks with the university's authorization. From the first sketch to the smallest hidden detail, they are layered with purpose, packed with symbolism and created for Aggies. The goal was simple: create a truly Aggie-worthy boot that feels like Texas A&M.

We hope you'll remember standing shoulder to shoulder with family and friends. The roar of Kyle Field. The Spirit of Aggieland. The victories, the traditions, and the people who made those moments unforgettable.

If our boots become part of those memories, then we've done exactly what we set out to do.

Because the greatest stories aren't told in words.

They're lived.

And sometimes…

They're worn.
